Level 1 Cafe

The first stage of Hit&Yum was designed to be a more straightforward and easily memorizable level. I created the interior with many slips and turns to allow the player to quickly retreat from the chef’s views. This gave the player a considerable amount of ways to dip out of danger through the various-sized tables.

In addition to designing and implementing the levels, as the main environmental artist, I created all assets and sprites in the environment. This included different views of each asset to have a variety of different positions for the object to be placed. To add more variety to the environment, many of the smaller assets like Cans, Bottles, Blenders, Food, etc. were created with multiple styles. This allowed for easy creation of basic animations that I created to give the environment a more lively surrounding.
